The existing totem sign is believed to date from the original construction of the site and as such had a dated design. The layout of the totem sign only allowed for limited options for design that didn’t match to our clients view for the site. The location of the existing totem sign also only allowed for limited visibility on the approach road to the site. As such it was agreed that a better investment would be to replace the totem sign altogether and install to a new location. Given that the existing totem sign was not illuminated and to keep within the limited budget for the site the new totem would also be non-illuminated.

We provided our client with several design options with a more modern and contemporary appearance. With some fine tweaks a design and location was agreed upon and we obtained local authority planning at our clients request.

Site works included the removal of the existing sign and disposal, CAT scan survey, groundworks and installation of a new concrete base, HIAB transportation to site and installation of the new totem sign.

Our client and the tenants on site were very pleased with the end result.
