A comprehensive rebranding project was completed over several phases with a strong emphasis on a consistent and quality brand image. Initially, providing quite a challenge, was the existing 20metre high rectangular pylon sign, which had recently been de-commissioned due to ongoing problems with high winds.

After detailed discussions with the planning department, they agreed we could retain the existing structure and fit new aluminium internal crossbars to strengthen the structure prior to overcladding with powder coated aluminum panels.

One final request was to utilise reflective vinyls so the totem which would provide maximum impact at any time of night or day. If you have driven along the A120 recently, it is hard to disagree!

With reference to the centre itself, all the old redundant signage was removed with elements such as the curved entrance archway and the large gift card sign was reconfigured and refurbished. Virtually all signage items on site are bespoke, to include, entrance signs, wayfinding sculptura units, fabricated tenants boards with printed graphics to complete a full site rebrand.

Update – Our client recently approached us when they wanted a quick and easy way to update the graphics on some of the signs at regular intervals. The original construction had not been designed to allow for this so any changes to the signs were time consuming and non cost effective.

In order to allow for the regular updates and provide a neat and consistent finish, we recommended retro fitting brand coloured fascia frames with digitally printed flexface PVC skins onto the existing signage. This allows for the changes to be completed quickly and easily with the graphics being in a single piece for a neat attractive appearance.
