Early in 2016, we were contacted by The Royal Navy Museum in Portsmouth who had just taken over the operations at The National Maritime Museum at Hartlepool.
The project required running in two phases to implement the new building signage and then to follow with new totem signs later in the year following planning approval.
Working with the client direct, we adapted the NMRN logo and brand colours into a bespoke brand package to cover all aspects of information and wayfinding signage.
The first phase predominantly comprised of folded aluminium tray panels all powder coated finished with applied computer graphics to identify the main building areas and entrance points.
The second phase comprised of 2no non-illuminated freestanding totem signs with the initial concept designs provided by ourselves with manufacture, groundwork’s, concrete, access equipment and site installation by Sign Options to completion.
