An existing triangular totem sign at around 10M high stood on site but the location was not visible from all entrances as required. Working with the same design as previously completed sites, produced by our in-house design studio, the project involved the removal of the existing totem sign and the installation of 2no new 7.5M internally illuminated totem signs side-by-side to ensure all tenants brands were visible from all traffic flow areas.

Following site survey, structural calculations and approval of planning consent, works began on site. Working closely with a local groundwork company, trenches were dug and ducting laid to allow the electrical contractor to supply a new electrical connection. Steel cages were set into a concrete base into dug out foundations in the new location ready for the installation of the 2no new totem signs delivered to site via hiab transport. The existing totem sign was stripped down, removed from site via hiab and the ground made good.

Installation was completed early morning to avoid interrupting busy traffic around the area. All groundwork’s, electrics, site attendance, crane hire and site installation was fully supervised by Sign Options teams.

Positive feedback has been received from the client for all completed sites.
